WAP

Hello all,
I am using Firefox with the add-in for viewing xhtml wap pages. Has anyone been successful in testing wap on Liferay? When I type in localhost:8080 with my wap viewer, it does not look formatted for a phone. I tried wap.localhost:8080, but that didn't work. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Are there any configuration things I need to do to Liferay to make it WAP ready? Does anyone know of the best way to test it while developing on a MAC?

it depends on the theme whether it supports WAP or not. I don't know of a MAC wap browser, but i used Openwave's simulator briefly when i did wap related stuff.

Hi Michael,

Yes, I tried to access LR using OpenWave mobile simulator and I am able
to see mobile theme present in the LR.
Please note that LR portal decide which theme (normal or WAP) to be used
depending on the accept header of Http request.
If accept header is containing wap.xhtml, then only it uses mobile theme.
Can you check whether your browser is sending this information?

Openwave is no longer in business. Can someone please send me the simulator?

Also, does anyone know where I can get some themes for mobile?
