I'm getting off the topic here but is the reason for the spams we were getting? I thought most public forums turned emails off to avoid spams.
It's been enabled since January - after the 'autoresponder' issue was fixed (see
LPS-30285), but it looks like the one above slipped through. Also, replies via email must go through the Akismet filter, so that's why you don't see many spams.
We turned it on to enable people to participate when using the website interface is too clumsy on mobiles, and it seems to be working OK so far, but have you noticed a lot of spam or other unwanted content?
