Liferay was setup to manage the company website long before I arrived and the person who set it up is long gone. With that being said, I am having an issue with posting files to the website. The link associated with the PDF is automatically assigned a unique ID. How do I turn the assigning of a unique ID off? I would like to just have the link post using the logical/physical name, so I can update all the links on multiple pages associated with the file by just updating the file.

Our development environment does display the physical address of document links. And, upon examining source codes of the template and xml structure between our development environment and production environment, the two are identical. Which leads me to believe the problem could stem from our production site being secured.

Does anybody have any insight on this possible scenario?
