In the latest Liferay CE version 6.1.1 opensocial gadgets do no work if they have <!DOCTYPE html> declaration in any view's content.
It doesn't work with inline content (<content><![CDATA[...) nor in proxied content mode (<content href="..." />).
The error reported is "HTML_PARSE_ERROR: org.w3c.dom.DOMException: NAMESPACE_ERR: An attempt is made to create or change an object in a way which is incorrect with regard to namespaces."
With the Liferay CE 6.1.0 doctype declarations worked perfectly well in all scenarios.
Please help identify the problem.
