How to open a link inside an iframe to another page

Hi all,
normally if I insert an href link inside an iframe portlet
that link will open inside the iframe.
Is it possible to open that link in another page, not inside the iframe?

Do you want to change the entire page containing the iframe portlet or show the content in a new window?

I want to show the content in a new window.

I haven't tried this yet but have you tried appending url with target=_blank

Have a look at Web Proxy Portlet. Unlike iFrame Portlet, it is possible to transform the HTML response of the page you try to integrate.
