Chat Portlets message logs

Hey ,

how can I delete the messages of the chat-portlet , does it have any chat logs or something ?

got it : the messages are being stored in the Liferay default DB (HSQL) table name : CHAT_ENTRY . I was able to find all messages

Just look at the service.xml for the table name if u need in future.

Just wondering how you deleted the messages now that you've found the table. :-)

I havent deleted them yet Im looking for a tool where I could do it without killing Liferay

Well, don't shutdown your liferay and just delete the insert statements in lportal.script file. :-)
