Technical question on Blog Contributors page

I want to ask a technical question around blogs and contributors page. Basically We are using out of the box liferay blog portlet to create blog posts. I've created a simple portlet that uses OrganizationLocalServiceUtil and UserLocalServiceUtil that displays all the organization users that are editors on the blog site. Those contributors now want to have a link on the portlet I created that will take them to a page that will have lists of all the blogs entered by that contributor.

What should be my approach to get this done ? Do I ask contributors to create a personal public page with hidden option in the nav? and then modify the portlet I created ? but than how will I get the correct page? Can someone tell me what should be the best approach?

After looking through it I found the OOB portlet called recent_blogger that now I'm using.
