Liferay 5.2.3 hook not deploying

I have created Liferay Hook in 5.2.3.After building it ,build becomes successful....war file is also generating but it is not deploying on server.
Can anyone tell me.Why this happenes?? Does Liferay 5.2.3 supports Hook.??
