Integrate jasperreport with liferay

hello,

I try to integrate jasperreport with liferay 6.1

but after researching in the net I found ambiguities in this subject (even on the plugins to download)

I find some answers on the forum for this topics which insists to download of these two plug-ins : reports-console-portlet and reporting-jasper-web.

and another proposal:
JasperReports-3.0.0.jar >>>>>>>> tomcat / webapps / ROOT / WEB-INF / lib
itext-1.3.1.jar >>>>>>> tomcat / webapps / ROOT / WEB-INF / lib

There's Aperte report but I'm not sure if it works with Liferay 6.1

but honestly I want to know the steps to be done to integrate jasperreport with liferay

I work with liferay 6.1 GA 1 bundled with tomcat

I want to know the plugins to download and where I need to put these plugins
(I think under tomcat /webapps /ROOT/ WEB-INF/lib)

So try reading the doco for Aperte Reports. It should tell you everything you need to do in what order.

Plugins don't go in to lib directory.

I think you'll be better off by reading Liferay's documents for starters. (Check on the "Documentation" menu on top of this page.)

I read the documents of liferay and even the document of aperate report

but still I find a problem to run an example with aperate report which is integrated with liferay

I'm really lost

I find in the net (google)same code in java which is used for reporting

I want to know if I am obliged to do the code of reporting in myself or liferay gives me the opportunity to do this

Aperte report isn't developed nor maintained by Liferay.com. If you have problem using it, please contact Aperte project instead of here.

I just want to know if Liferay offers the possibility of reporting (pdf extracting form or other form)

as for LDAP
Liferay offers the possibiliter to integrate easily (you just enter Authentication -> LDAP ....)

Another question for aperate report it is used and configured with maven as my project does not use maven

Liferay does not have a reporting mechanism, that is handled by third party portlets, i.e. Aperte Reports in conjunction w/ Jasper Reports.

Yes, Liferay can integrate with LDAP. It is not always as easy as it appears because an organization's LDAP tree can sometimes get obfuscated and cluttered.

As far as Aperte Reports use of maven, they use that for the build. You're not building AR, you're just using it, so maven is not a requirement.

Myself also in a urgent need of to do jasper report with LR6.0. Could you please provide me documents or steps to do with LR6.0 or LR 6.1??
