Use File protocol from a Web Content Display portlet

Hi,

I am trying to create a Web Content, that has a link to my network shared dir.
All I did is selected the protocol as other and gave the path of my network dir in path. But that do not work.

Do anyone know how to map a network shared drive to a hyperlink within the Web Content.

can you please specify the complete value that you put as "other protocol"? Can you also look at the liferay log and post any eventual error?
