Hi all,
Back before the 6.1 release, I generated a big list of over 300 names of people that have contributed (large and small) to Liferay over the last year or so leading up to the 6.0 and 6.1 releases. This was culled from JIRA, GitHub, SVN, translate.liferay.com, the wiki, and other sources of contributions. I really wanted this to be baked into the official README in the downloads, but due to privacy/legal reasons I could not. However, all is not lost. I just created a wiki page and I'd like to ask all of you who have contributed to Liferay to please add your name/info to it! This way, you can 'opt-in' to have your name highlighted as a contributor to Liferay. This will have a better chance of being baked into the releases in a more permanent way!
Contributions come in many forms, and in many sizes, so if you have contributed to Liferay in any way, please check out the wiki page and add your information if you are willing! Many of us come and go, and I feel we need a way to enshrine your contributions for years to come, so that we don't lose track of the awesome work that you have all put in over the last many years. And it costs nothing

Yeah!! You deserve it! I encourage everyone that has contributed, no matter how small, to the list - I'm going to try and get it into the 6.2 README so no one is left behind

Hey everyone, there is a bug with our wiki that seriously corrupted the Hall of Fame wiki (no names were lost - but links were really messed up). I've gone through and eliminated the use of wiki tables, and just made the Hall of Fame a bulleted list. If you contributed in any way to Liferay in the last 2 years, please please add your name and description to this wiki page! I will copy all of these into the 6.2 README just before the release, so your name will be forever enshrined in this release (and future ones too!).

Also note, that contributions other than code also count: Bug Reports, Documentation, Helpful Wiki content, Translations, Feature implementations or improvements, Participation in things like BugSquad and other community programs, Testing efforts, and Idea Generation all count!
