Removing Workflow from Control Panel

Hello everyone,

I have followed this blog and its not working on the latest Liferay 6.1 CE GA2.

If I do it aggresively by editting liferay-display.xml and liferay-portlet.xml its working, however I wouldnt like to use it this way.

Any suggestions how to fix EXT ?

I also could not make it working. What changes did u made in liferay-display.xml and liferay-portlet.xml ?? Did u also change the workflow.xml resource file in ext??

Did you just remove the workflow portlet? Removing the portlet should remove them from the Control Panel. The blog seems to be about movint it somewhere else.

Yes, I need to move it to the page, but just My workflow tasks.

No I havent changed workflow.xml and I have just editted liferay-portlet.xml and liferay-displey.xml in liferay/tomcat/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF

Still cant do anything about it, I have made exact steps as in the blog, but it does nothing.
The only way for me is to do it without EXT, editing liferay-display.xml and liferay-portlet.xml files then?

Forget the EXT. All you need to do is remove the following permissions from appropriate role(s):
Control panel - Personal -> My Workflow Tasks
Control panel - Personal -> My Submissions

You're done in 30 seconds

Hi Guys,
Please did anybody manage to get this working. The instructions posted on the blog do not work for Liferay 6.1.1 CE GA2. I understand it is possible to customize behaviour of Liferay Control Panel portlets in 6.1.1 using only hooks, without ext. Anybody have any answer to this please? Really urgent. In my own case - need to add the workflow portlets to a different page and remove them from CP.
