Changes to theme development in 6.1 vs 6.0.6

Hi everyone,

Should there be significant changes to themes developed for 6.0.6 and 6.1? If so, is there a resource that highlights the major changes?

I have a custom theme that was working in 6.0.6. When I deploy into 6.1 it seems that the organization logo does not get displayed in the upper left hand corner anymore. I'm sure I'll figure it out but I'd like to know if there's an additional resource I should be looking at in order to properly migrate the theme.

As long as you have your image in the theme [ specified $image_folder] and you are importing it as the logo from Manage Pages, I think you are good. there is nothing additional to be done.
If you have made any CSS changes for navigation in 6.0, check if it is replicated in the CSS of 6.1

As long as you've followed Liferay theme best practices there shouldn't be any major changes. In fact one theme I developed for 6.0.6 worked just by repackaging it against 6.1.0. I didn't have to do any changes to the them.
