Theme Plugin needed - ASAP

Hi,

Please find the attached Image of one of the Liferay Themes(sevencogs-theme-6.0.6.1).
I need a theme exactly the same as this. But the Portlet Toolbar color and background color here is blue.
I need the one which in gray.

Or is there any solution where I can use the same theme and be able to change the color layout as I require ?

Kindly need your help ASAP.

Hi Nagaraj

You can download 7 cogs theme from control panel as a war file and then You can modify the theme using plugins SDK as per your requirement.

You can modify the custom.css of the 7cogs theme and change the theme color based on your requirement

Yes, use seven-cogs theme, go to the css folder and modify the styles you need.

Thanks for your quick response. I' am able to change the 7 cogs theme by changing the .css files and the changes is reflecting.

In case I want to use Classic Theme,

Can you please tell me how to modify the Classic Themes .css. The classic theme related files are in,

...\\liferay-portal-6.0.6\tomcat-6.0.29\webapps\ROOT\html\themes\classic\css

I try to change the custom.css file of this theme and changed Liferay settings to use this theme, I' am not able to see the changes in UI.

Can you please guide me, whether I' am modifying in the right place.

Or How do I modify the Classic Theme.

Hi Nagaraj,

Try to refresh by pressing Ctrl + F5. If not, try to stop the server and delete the temporary files. In Tomcat, delete the content of the temp and work folders. Start the server. Anyhow, I would not change anything of the classic them. I would make my theme and then, I would copy the classic theme files. I don't know what Jignesh will think about that.
