Help! Liferay marketplace missing?

Hi everyone,

Am exploring liferay for the first time.

Decided to save time and use the AMI from bitnami here to launch on aws:

After logging to liferay cms, I am unable to sign-in to the marketplace (wanted to check out the WSRP plugin). Also tried creating new user under "Users and Organization" but there's no add user button? These are basically the only 2 things i've tried so far... and they all seem to be either missing or disabled... Do i need to activate something (i don't get it as the stack provided seems to have everything )? Sorry for my noob question...hope someone can give me a walkthrough. Thank you.

Using: 7.0.2-1-r28 on Ubuntu 14.04.3, released 01/09/2017
Cloud image on AWS
*i've downloaded the latest Liferay Marketplace.lpkg file and placed it in the "deploy" folder which forums say may fix the issue.. but didn't work
* tried using different browsers - same issue
*redeployed the ami - same issue

Any help is much appreciated!

OK so i've realised it is region related.. i was using the one in asia (sg region). i'm now able to access the marketplace after using the AMI in the N.Virginia region. Cheers.
