document_library_web_portlet_DLPortlet performance issues

Hello,

We are running Liferay Community Edition Portal 7.0.2 GA3 (Wilberforce / Build 7002 / August 5, 2016).

Our memory allocation is as follows:

Used Memory 984,621,616 Bytes
Total Memory 1,389,363,200 Bytes
Maximum Memory 2,885,681,152 Bytes

When browsing the portal, specifically the Documents & Media library (com_liferay_document_library_web_portlet_DLPortlet), the load times are slow and in many cases stall out. We have ~100 documents in up to 4 nested folders. There are also ~650 users loaded. Only a handful of test users are actively using the portal right now.

We are using Simple and Advanced File Store.

This issue seems to only persist for users who do not own the files/folders. The owner has normal load speeds.

Can you advise as to what our next steps should be to improve performance?

Upgrading to GA4 resolved this issue.
