We are using Liferay Portal 6.2
I am trying to track the number of clicks of PDF file. Liferay is attaching an ID, for example b0e35dbd-f2dc-445d-be0a-2530681d1a67 after the file type “..../portal-web/documents/WhoReadsInfographs.pdf/40d9fe08-02cb-4739-8621-d0ff0810230b”
So Google Analytics is not recognizing the download or click. I understand that Google tracks downloads by the common file extensions such as .pdf, .ppt, .mp3, mp4, etc..
Question: Is there a way to exclude or eliminate the appended ID from the file name so we can only see the metrics from the PDF using the actual file name?
