With the release of the Social Office to Liferay 7 upgrade documentation, we have retired the old version of Social Office since the components are now available in Liferay 7. More details can be found in the official announcement.

I think Liferay's not doing very well with its policies since the release o Liferay 7

Hi Aritz, I'm sorry about that. We didn't have enough traction with Social Office to continue to treat it as a separate product.

Is there something specific you need with your current SO installation?

Well I actually was planning to make a brand new installation of Liferay 6.2 GA5 + Social Office.

I am sure Liferay 7 will overcome Liferay 6 but by the date now, I don't think it is a stable production-ready solution.

Hopefully, Liferay7.0 GA4 will be releaded sometime soon and with an extra of stability.

What would your bet be guys?

IMHO, SO has been hidden on purpose to encourage users to use Liferay 7/DXP

SO3 is lost in time-space and thus, you will not have support on it. IF you choose LR6.2 + SO3 you will be on your own.

Looks like business decisions have been made to make everything flow to DXP
