Liferay inheriting css files from portlets

Hi Liferay community,

Is it possible somehow to prevent a theme from inheriting css files from portlets? I attached a custom portlet and it has css files which affects my theme. Thank you for help in advance.

Since CSS is a client side technology, the answer is no. I generally don't like to have CSS is my portlet. Instead, I like to keep all my CSS in the theme.
