Why is portlet not displayed under sample category in liferay 7?

I have created a portlet in liferay 7. I built and deployed portlet successfully. The portlet is displayed successfully. But when I imported a class of another project into this portlet, the status of the portlet turned into installed rather than active, and the portlet disappears from the sample category. Any idea where might I go wrong? Please help..Thanx in advance.

The thing where you go repeatedly wrong is to link your crossposts. Please read the linked question and answer, make corrections as suggested there and/or decide for a single site to post your questions on. You're asking for free help and it's not too much to ask for respect for the time of those helping you: If the questions was long asked on the other sites that you crosspost to, nobody would need to invest time into solving your problems.

When it shows as installed, that means there is an unsatisfied dependency.

If you try to start the module that is listed as installed, you'll see the missing dependency.

How to start the module? Please elaborate..

When you're doing the list in gogo, you see the # and the "installed" state. enter command "start #" but replace # with your bundle number.
