Whether liferay can send 1000 emails at a time

I need to send a mail notification to all users whenever a new post is posted in a blog .whether liferay can send email to thousands of user simultaneously.

This is not exactly Mobile SDK related. Anyway you should use a mail server **very** well set up if you don't want to be marked as spam.
