Upgrade YUI to latest version

Is there an easy way to upgrade the YUI version that ships with Liferay to the latest version of YUI? I downloaded Liferay 6.0.5 that ships with YUI 3.2.0PR1. I'd like to upgrade to the most current YUI 3.3.0.

I tried simply replacing the YUI files that ships with Liferay, but it didn't seem to work. Has anyone done this and gotten it to work?

See this thread how I've got stuff working...not sure if it is the right way or if it causes other issues but it worked for me.

Hello All,

I'm also facing same issue, while I'm using 3.3 version of yui, I'm getting js errors because liferay support 3.2 version.

So I want to upgrade version of YUI in liferay from 3.2 to 3.3

Is there any way/process to achive this? I tried the one which H.william suggests but that one also throwing other errors.

Please share ideas to solve this issue.
