CAS in Liferay

Are you integrating every single SSO you find on the market? The documentation that I linked in my answer to the same question on siteminder also contains CAS and the other SSO systems in case you need others as well. Just look for their names

So, I guess CAS and SiteMinder are for same use? As both works on SSO.
What are the difference between the two?
