Spring Remoting Web-Service

Hi,

From researching the forum threads, I am thinking Liferay does provide some support for other (Java) Standalone/Web Applications which can make Spring Remoting webservice call to the existing services in Liferay for Example UserService, GroupService etc...

But what I am finding difficulty is supporting client jar files which other web application needed for making spring remote calls.

can you please point me an sample code or any resources to acheive this.

I am using Liferay 6.0.5 GA3 version deployed on the Tomcat Version.
And also I looked at some of the supporting war and jar files at the following URL specially liferay-portal-client-6.0.5.zip and liferay-portal-dependencies-6.0.5.zip hoping to find some client jar files for supporting spring remoting calls which could be maid from outside of Liferay.
