Patching tool

Junior Member Beiträge: 63 Beitrittsdatum: 15.10.09 Neueste Beiträge
Whenever I run the patching tool, I see the following:

liferay-portal-6.2-ee-sp13: patching-tool/patching-tool.sh auto-discovery
Directory is not set in command line, using ../
Auto discovery looks for portal segments. The selected directory is "../".
The configuration hasn't been saved. Please save this to the default.properties file:
patching.mode=binary
war.path=../jboss-7.1.1/standalone/deployments/ROOT.war/
global.lib.path=../jboss-7.1.1/modules/com/liferay/portal/main/

The configuration hasn't been saved. Please save this to the default.properties file.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

It means you can save all of this in default.properties in that directory and it won't have to guess anymore.

If you need any additional assistance on the patching tool, you can also contact Liferay's support.

The default.properties is in the patching-tool directory.
I have run the patching-tool.sh from the patching tool directory and see that message.
I have run the patching-tool.sh from the liferay home directory and still see that message.

You can remove default.properties from the patching-tool folder. A new default.properties will be created.
