File Upload for workflow portlet, is it available in Liferay 6 ?

There have already been several requests to add a file data type to provide a
means for users to upload files that are associated with workflow tasks. This will definitely
be a future enhancement.

Does anyone know whether this has been implemented in Liferay 6 ?

Hi Chris - I've already replied in email - but will repeat reply here - probably I'm wrong in some points and somebody has more info.

In Liferay all workflows are connected to some asset - it is not possible just to "create task" - but, you can configure Liferay to use some workflow for some type of asset (for example, web-content), and then you create or change this asset - it will "flow" by using specified workflow.

It is possible to assign comment to the task - but I did not saw anything about attachments. But, you can assign some workflow for Documents from "Document Library" - in this case this document will act as attachment for process, initiated by adding/changing this document. But not sure it is what you need.
