Default User Associations

Hello,

Is there a way to automatically make new Liferay users a member of an organisation?

I've found using "Default User Associations" works for communities but it doesn't seem to work for organisations.

I'm using Liferay 5.2.3.

Many thanks,

Mike.

Thanks very much (don't know how I didn't find that when I searched the forums before posting this question).

A post event handler was going to be my last resort. I had just hoped because the capability already existed for communities it would be possible to do the same with organisations but obviously not.

Thanks again,

Mike.

Mike,

I must be doing something wrong. I created an "IT Community" community and added that name to the default user associations just like the admin manual says. When I add a new user, that user is not showing up as a member of the IT Community.

What am I missing?

Thanks,
Tom

Never mind,
I restarted the JBoss engine and now it works fine. Maybe the database update is taking awhile. Sorry to bug you.
