2000 communities
signups are ongoing but there will be about 50k users by the time its all done.

This is for a non profit, but the model can be utilized for edu, gov, etc....

ok, things changed,

now expecting 1 million signups (members) distributed across 5000 communities

am writing up the process, but it really is a very simple setup.

using lighttpd (5 instances) as the front end with loadbalancing,
1 mysql db
5 lr servers
