We have a group using the web proxy portlet (Liferay 5.2.2 Community Ed.) to render their web pages in the <Liferay> portal. There are two different sites they are proxying to in two different communities. The only difference in how they are configuring the portlet is the URL they are pointing to. Both URLs, will call them URL-1 and URL-2, come up fine outside the portal from standard browser access. WE can access URL-1 just fine within the web proxy portlet. However, when we define the web proxy portlet to point to URL-2, we get the page title in the proxy portlet title but the rest of the page for URL-2 is just not displayed - like it's a blank page - even though viewing the page directly in the browser shows the content just fine.
We can get to other pages on the same server (URL-2
so eliminated any issues with content on that server in general - but this one page (a login page) will not show up.
There is reference in this post http://www.liferay.com/web/guest/community/forums/-/message_boards/message/712024 that there is a change needed in the web proxy portlet properties.
Is there a specific configuration change which would help us address this issue? Any ideas/suggestions on what else we can check?
