Removing access rights on a portlet

Hi everybody,

I am trying to disable access rights on a portlets for some user roles in the ext environment.
Therefore, I thought it would be sufficient to overwrite the security-role-ref in the portlet-ext.xml (or portlet-custom-ext.xml ?) in the ext environment.

Unfortunately I seem to be able to add roles to the configuration, not remove them.

Is there any proper way to do that besides dropping the portlet.xml (or portlet-custom.xml in my case) in the ext environment and removing the roles in the "original" place there?

You might try posting this to Development since it sounds like you're writing your own code.
