Installing Emforge

I tried to install SVN portlet in lots of ways. But nothing works. I tried to have available one which shows error message as follows.

"The SVN repositories have not been initialized. This should not be the case except the first time this portlet is deployed when the SVN tables have not been populated. To populate the SVN tables, make sure the property "svn.synchronization.interval" is set to a value greater than 0."

Can anyone help to get rid of this?

I tried to install Emforge also. It says installation successful. But it doesn't show in application panel. If anyone knows the solution please reply as soon as possible.

Hi!

I'm afraid you are mixing functionality of several different portlets.

WOL (World of Liferay) has SVN portlet - this is porltet used on profile page in liferay.com itself - and display last commits of user into liferay reposiory. Message "The SVN repositories have not been initialized. Bal-bla-bla" is a message from this WOl SVN portlet. Not sure it is what you want to use.

EmForge Portlets available in Community Plugins (http://www.liferay.com/web/guest/downloads/community_plugins/-/software_catalog/products) is used to "browse" repositories. Portlet ater installation need to be configured (you need to enable "Toggle Controls" and click on "Preferences" icon/menu for portlet - you need to configure repository you are going to connect. Portlet has Help page - it has some example of repository URL need to be used. Currently we are developing new version (included not only SVN browser, but also Project management tools and sonething else) - for any questions related to EmForge Portlet it is better to use it's forum (http://www.emforge.net/web/emforge-portlet/forums)

EmForge application (http://www.emforge.org) is a standalone application - it should be deployed and run outside Liferay. To discuss any questions related to EmForge it is better to use it's forum (http://www.emforge.net/project/emforge-lite/forums)

I somehow managed to create a portelt for SVN...
