Can Liferay use http not https CAS authentication?

I have described my problem inthis topic .

I want to use a remote http 80 CAS authentication rather than the default local https 443 CAS authentication.

What should I do?

Why do you want to pass your user names and passwords in clear text over the internet? You should probably upgrade your CAS server to accommodate https as it's a fairly serious security issue.
