Same database differant results.

Hi,

We have two server Dev and QA, both are pointing same DB. Both are giving different results while searching.
what would be reason?

Searching what?

Note that Lucene is used for speeding up local searches, but that does not hit the database it hits the local lucene index.

You cannot point two Liferays at the same database, because each one's index will get out of sync and these kinds of things occur.
