Upgrade from CE to EE

We have developed our application on Liferay CE 6.1.2 and we have to upgrade to Liferay EE. What would be the things to consider before upgrading? We have our custom themes, custom portlets with service and hooks also. Is there significant changes from Liferay CE 6.1.2 to Liferay EE 6.2? Or should we consider using Liferay EE 6.1 if available?
