Doesn't work update method for my custom table

Hi,
i have this problem:
I call the method "updateWorkflowTask", it's a method created from a building of service.xml. The code is this:

WorkflowTask wftask= WorkflowTaskLocalServiceUtil.fetchWorkflowTask(taskId);
...
....
wftask.setModifiedDate(new Date());
wftask.setStateId(0);
....
WorkflowTaskLocalServiceUtil.updateWorkflowTask(wftask,false); ------> doesn't update

I i print the parameters. they come to change their values, but doesn't work the update method and the corresponding table doesn't update values.
Someone knows why?

You can try to use workflowTaskPersistence attribute instead for doing that DB calls....

I tryed with this:
WorkflowTaskLocalService workflowTaskPersistence = new WorkflowTaskLocalServiceImpl();
workflowTaskPersistence.updateWorkflowTask(wftask,false);

That's wrong.

You should call it using WorkflowTaskLocalServiceUtil.

I have no problem, no errors, but it doesn't update the fileds in my table..i don't know how i can explain you...I see the changes of my fields when i call set parameters, because i print these parameters System.ou.println(....), after i call update method and it doesn't update in my tables..WHY???

That's a very bad practice. If you delete records manually in DB, many data can be inconsistent.
