Now, this is totally FALSE!!! The growth rate number is too low! If you were watching closely, you'll have noticed that liferay community has expanded to outside of these forums. For example, there are now more post to Stackoverflow on liferay. There is now a community version code branch outside liferay.com so the number of downloads are more than what liferay.com states. I'm already working on 2 new client projects this year.

Liferay's 56,000 community members in 2011 grew to over 75,000 by the end of last year, and to date the community has already surpassed 80,000 members.
