Integrate ruby application to liferay

I have an ruby chatter application using Rail 3 + JQuerymobile app using the Chatter REST API. Now I need to integrate this application to liferay as a portlet. How to do this? Please help me out!!!

I'm not sure if you can use ruby portlet but I think you'll be able to use jruby.
