Anyone is using Social Office?

Hi,

Is anyone using SO in production?

My impression is that SO is very good and needed idea (similar to IBM Lotus Connections) but now is in phase BETA :
1.) a lot of unresolved issues: http://issues.liferay.com/browse/SOS and nobody seems to working with it?
2.) SO does not work with multiple instances

Is there a clear vision of future of SO? Is anyone developing/fixing bugs of SO?

Hi Artur,

Yes. We have developer developing and fixing bugs for SO. We just recently released Social Office 2.0 EE, and we are resuming developing right now. We definitely plan to improve the product and also put more resources on this project.

Regarding to your problem with multiple instances, here are the fix.

I will see if we have plans to release another CE release which includes most of the fixes.
