Hide preferences in Live Instance?

Is it possible to hide the preferences for the pages and portlets in the pages in Live instance?

Hi Luca,

Were you able to get a solution on this? I have the same question.
I want to disable all edit options (portlet configuration, preferences, edit webcontent etc) in the Live instance. (all these edit will be enabled only in Staging).

This seems like an obvious requirement (where there is Remote Staging enabled, we dont want any edition happening on the Remote Live).
Surprised to see I have not found any configurations to achieve this.
