Downloading in different file format

I am receiving complaints from users that when they want to download the files into another version – the “internal server error” message appears. They can only download the files in the original format.

But other options are shown to them. Please refer to the attachment and advice me on how to fix this.

It was working fine prior to this.
Please guide me on how to fix this.

You probably don't have OpenOffice running. See the openoffice section from Server Administration page on Liferay User Guide.

Thanks for your reply but not able to download even txt or any simple formats like pdf.
My machine has adobe reader.

There is open office installed in that machine.

Is that what I should look for?

Yeah but do you have it running in headless mode? It's running in headless mode if you've started it up like instructed in Liferay User Guide. Like this:

soffice --headless --accept="socket,host=127.0.0.1,port=8100;urp;" --nofirststartwizard
