Alternative to the directory Portlet

Hi,
I need to have an alternative to the directory portlet.
My needs are an advanced UI with name, phone number, mail address...

Is there any option to integrate an open source App that can be my directory or let me name it "PhoneBook" ?
If you know a good software please tell me about it.
