"Ideas" portlet

Hi all,

It would be very nice to have a portlet which will be able to post ideas, let the community promote/devote them and display the most voted ideas on top. Maybe a modified blog portlet will satisfy the needs...

Look at http://ideas.salesforce.com or starbucks.com like they do it very well..

This would be a very powerful and helpful feature for us and I think many more would be benefit from!

i even have implemented my own "ideas" portlet based on the blogs portlet. (duplicated blogs and recent bloggers ans so on)

The needed functionality is given by this dupicate but one is missing:

The idea - entries (or Blog entries) cannnot be sorted by average rating, but this should work also for blogs i think because so you have the possibility to view the most popular entries - are there any suggestions concerning this ? can it be done anyway by now? implementing recommendations or any chance of implementing by liferay ?

You can go there to vote for all kinds of features you might want
