Verbose taglib description

Liferay portlets use many taglibs. I've found an autogenerated javadoc for them here http://docs.liferay.com/portal/6.0/taglibs/index.html . As you can see there is no description of usage of them or it's fields. I've found some links to partial descriptions of them.

Is there any place where I can get a detailed, comprehensive and updated description of every one? Otherwise I'll have to digg in liferay sources and books to guess it's behaviour. And of course I'll have no idea if any of them is deprecated or not.

Lack of documentation is the biggest drawback in Liferay.

No other sources I'm aware of, but since Liferay is open source they will gladly accept any doco you put together as a result of your research...
