Theme Deploy issue in LR - 6.0

I have two issues here:

1. I hot-deployed a theme (say, themeA) yesterday. It was showing properly - all the CSS styles were in effect (which I defined them in custom.css)
Today morning, I re-started my server and to my surprise the theme is found distorted meaning all the CSS style information are not coming in Firebug. However, the
theme folder remain intact at my server/webapps folder with all the new CSS styles. Any idea or did somebody faces the same issue before?

2. Even if I try to hot-deploy the same theme again, Liferay even though it's showing 'Processed Successfully' is failed to apply the theme.
Any pointers where I should look at?

Strange. It gets resolved

1. Delete the theme plugin
2. Delete the <tomcat installation folder>/work folder
3. Restart the server
4. Re-deploy the theme plug-in
