Some liferay controls have not been implemented

There are useful elements, like calendar and input-date in Liferay taglib.
Should we expect implementation ones?

Right -- we currently implement a subset of the liferay-ui and liferay-security JSP taglib as Facelet composite components. The reason why we didn't do the liferay-ui:input-date tag is because component suites like ICEfaces already have date selection like ice:selectInputDate.

We plan on doing more in the future, but unless we receive contributions from the community we won't be implementing more until perhaps the 2nd half of 2011.

Hi Paras,

Unfortunately no -- we don't have any new components for Liferay Faces Alloy or Liferay Faces Portal in the 3.1.0 GA1 release. But the 3.1.x roadmap includes development of new components.

The the 3.1.0 GA1 release is focussed on providing a production quality product with a bridge that conforms to the JSR 329 specification.
