Move Content from one local folder to another

Hi,

I am working on Document Library. Through the Document Viewer, We can see the all hierarchy of the folders.
My Requirement is that:If want to move one file from one folder to another. What kind of customization I can do. Plz suggest the appropriate solution.

When u say you need to move files.. is that you want to do do this API level with in another portlet of your own or using the Admin Console..
