Firing hook when a link is clicked

Hello Everyone,

My requirement is to fire a hook when an user clicks on a link placed on navigation bar on the top. Could anyone please tell how to do this. I have overrode navigation.jsp but that is not my requirement.
Please help me out.

Hi shubhranshu,

I think I did not understand your question. Are you trying to override the Dockbar that floats on top of the page or the Navigation bar that shows the page navigation.

I believe you are trying to override the Navigation bar, If yes then it can be customised in the theme that you are using, in the navigation.vm template, you do all the customisation in the navigation.vm for placing the links. In this case you dont need a hook.
