Sort Based on custom fields in liferay 6

Hi all,
Im using LR6.0.6, I add some custom fields for user and i have customized Directory Portlet that displays user details with custom attributes.
How can i sort the user based on the custom attributes?... any idea guys?

Were you able to solve the problem ?
I am having the same requirement where I want sort the User based on their custom attributes in Directory portlet.
