Sample portlets with open source codes

Hi,

After searching for some sample portlets, I was able to get plenty of war files. However, war files are almost useless to me without sources.
Therefore, could you please provide me with some links or help in any other way to find open-sourced portlets.

Hi Al,

you just need to check out them from svn repository http://svn.liferay.com/repos/public/plugins/trunk/portlets/ .... A lot of them in there.

As Jakub said, Liferay is open source. All the source to the community edition is avaiable from the svn site.
