Blog Aggregator Improvments

I'm going to start gathering in and trying to organize the Blog related posts.  The links to the posts are in the order that they pop up in the search function.  If I've missed a post, please feel free to add it.

If there is a feature on this list that is important to you, please leave a comment stating so OR vote (thumbs up) for someone else's comment.  The more votes a given feature has, the more likely it is to be included.

Community Posts are referenced here... Please put comments/voting on this page -

Display -

  • Ability to choose on a per intance basis what blogs are displayed (e.g. which users, communities, etc.)
  • Formatting options for blog aggregation
  • This would tie into the abstract in the blog improvment page

Can someone evolute this requirements?? It is too simple.

When you deploy the Blog Aggregator, we want to be able to define which blogs are aggregated and displayed. - Specific Users, specific communities, etc.

We would like formatting options for the blog aggregator so that there is some control over how the information looks without having to go hack into the CSS. Is there a photo or not a photo included... How much of the entry do we aggregate... User-configurable first X number of characters + title, title only, include the author's name or not... etc.

Few enchancements:
1) search in blog aggregrator like blogs
2) blogs tags display and click like asset publisher
3) tag cloud binding

This features are already available in blogs, but it doesnt display user level blogs. which in very useful in some cases.
